The science of colognes

I love colognes. The Scent of a great cologne just does something to me that lifts my mood and takes me to a cool place. When I was told by my doctor that I had acute rhinitis, a form of allergy I was most alarmed that it meant I would have to drastically reduce my use of colognes. My all time favorite CK Be was one of the chief offenders. But I just love the masculine, musky scent of that one. Most ladies I came across when I wore it loved it. When I am on the streets of Brooklyn I would spend much time at teh cologne section just sniffing out different Scent. I am also very interested in the chemistry and science behind making a cologne that will be an instant hit!

I really am constantly amazed at the sheer power of the Scent , the science of perfumes, the study and mimicking of the bodies natuarl pheremones that goes into the design and chemistry of a great cologne. I take the time to choose carefully. i can spend hours at the perfume stand just basking in the aromas. My all time favorite is CKBe. I bought them over and over to replenish the stock. Some Scent can be overpowering especially when the user thinks that they way to get the smell lasting all day is to spray lots and lots on the clothes, but the real trick is to spray on the skin, and in certain areas, like behind the ears!

The Wheat and the Tares

Typically Jesus taught in parables. One of those has to with the labourers reporting to the master that they had gone to inspect the fields and they found that the wheat that they had laboured to plant had been contaminated by tares that appear to have been sown during the night by a ruthless enemy. I have never seen a wheat or a tare plant, but what is clear is that they had a striking morphological resemblance. S much so that unless one painstakingly scrutinized them, he/she could unintentionally destroy a wheat plant thinking it was a tare. I am still in the hermeneutical process with this passage to arrive at the precise meaning behind this parable.
